5 WhatsApp reminders that cut no-shows

By the Anssay team · 29 Oct 2026 · 4 min read

A no-show is worse than a cancellation: the slot sits empty and nobody else could have taken it. It hurts most where every hour is booked, like physio clinics and tuition centres. A short, well-timed WhatsApp reminder is the simplest fix. Here are five messages you can copy today.

When to send reminders

Five messages to copy

1. Booking confirmation

Hi Lakshmi, you're booked for a cleaning on Sat 31 Oct at 5:00 pm with Dr. Arun at Smile Care Dental. Reply here if you need to change it.

2. The evening-before reminder

Hi Lakshmi, a reminder of your cleaning tomorrow at 5:00 pm with Dr. Arun. Tap Confirm, or Reschedule if the time no longer works.

3. Two hours before

See you at 5:00 pm today, Lakshmi. Parking is free behind the clinic.

4. When they cancel

No problem, Lakshmi — your slot is cancelled. Would you like the next free time? Dr. Arun has Monday at 6:00 pm.

5. Filling the gap (to someone on your waitlist)

Hi Ravi, a 5:00 pm slot just opened today with Dr. Arun. Would you like it? Reply Yes and it's yours.

What makes a reminder work

Doing it without doing it

Sending these by hand works for a few bookings a day and falls apart on a busy week. Anssay sends the confirmation, the evening reminder and the waitlist offer on its own, from your Anssay number, and reschedules when the customer taps the button. A customer can reply STOP anytime and won't get another. Reminders use WhatsApp credits, and every plan includes 500 a month.
